MICROLIGHT FLYING CLUB EVENTS

Sometimes we do things that are nothing at all to do with flying though. This year we're having a trip up north to visit Coronation Street ..... yes we do have some Coronation Street and EastEnders fans in the club. And another event coming soon is a JCB race, so you see it's not all flying all the time.

But back to the flying. There's our annual fly-out where we spend a few days with friends and families at other locations - one of our favourites being Davidstow Moor right on the Atlantic coast in beautiful Cornwall. There's a fantastic Inn down there - The Rising Sun - where we all reside and enjoy excellent food and a marvellous time in the evenings.

We also have regular flying competitions where we have great fun balloon bursting, flour bombing, spot landing, navigation exercises and much more.

There's ample car parking space and the clubhouse serves food and drink all the time. It's a wonderful place to get some fresh air & relax in the surroundings of one of the friendliest and most beautiful airfields in the UK.

So get yourself a new life and make some new friends with those who enjoy a way of life that has NO social barriers. You're very welcome to come to any of our club meetings and of course we'd be delighted to see you at the airfield even if you just want to come and browse around to see what goes on. Somewhere to go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon perhaps. You can bring the kids along too and dogs are OK but do ensure that they're on a lead 'cause it gets just a bit too exciting when errant dogs try to stop aeroplanes taking off!
