Who we are & How to find us - Microlight Flying School & Club

You might be wondering what the connection is between The Microlight Aviation Club and Airbourne.

Well, it's a requirement of aviation law that any flight training that takes place has to be done under Club arrangements. So the school - Airbourne Aviation - exists as the commercial side and the M.A.C exists as a members club. This satisfies the law and provides us with a fantastic social side to the flying activities ..... so everyone's happy!

AirBourne Aviation has been in business since 1980. It's a Civil-Aviation-Authority approved Flight Training Centre based at a busy privately owned airfield using the latest generation of 'Those Magnificent Flying Machines' piloted by the most experienced instructors in lightweight aviation.

Full catering facilities are available for lunch and general refreshments. Make a change and pop in for Sunday Lunch, relaxing in a unique atmosphere in very pleasant surroundings at one of Britain's most attractive private airfields. Come & sample Val's cooking - it's really excellent.
